Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy

Your first appointment involves a detailed assessment of your symptoms, including a pelvic floor evaluation. The pelvic health physiotherapist will also discuss your overall health history, including any surgeries, medications, or previous physiotherapy treatments related to these concerns. Based on this information, your physiotherapist will create a tailored plan to address any dysfunction or pain linked to pelvic health issues. You will receive treatment, education, and exercises to begin your recovery journey right away.

Injury/Rehab Physiotherapy

During the first physiotherapy session, the physiotherapist conducts a thorough assessment to understand your medical history, symptoms, and functional concerns. This includes discussing your goals, performing physical tests to evaluate strength, mobility, balance, and any pain or discomfort. Based on the findings, the therapist develops a personalized treatment plan, which may include education, exercises, manual therapy, or other interventions. They may also provide advice on managing symptoms and preventing further issues. All assessments and treatments take place in a private room with one-on-one care.

 Concussion/Vestibular Physiotherapy

Concussion physiotherapy focuses on managing symptoms and promoting recovery after a mild traumatic brain injury. It includes interventions for headaches, neck pain, dizziness, and difficulties with balance or concentration. Vestibular physiotherapy addresses dizziness, vertigo, and balance disorders caused by dysfunction in the vestibular system. Treatments often include exercises to improve gaze stability, balance retraining, and techniques to reduce symptoms like nausea or motion sensitivity. Both therapies aim to restore normal function and improve quality of life.
